CHIMNEY SWEEP & STOVE SERVICING HERTFORDSHIRE

It’s important that at least once a year your wood-burning, multi-fule stove or fireplace undergo’s an annual service which will include stripping, inspecting and cleaning the appliance. In addition our trained HETAS engineer will inspect the chimney and flue liner and carry out a comprehensive chimney sweep.

Our company not only sweeps the flue – we pride ourselves in our comprehensive service where we check door and glass seals, grease all moving parts, check glass, firebricks, grate, flue connections and will even give your stove a spray of paint to ensure that it is in tip top condition for the next season.

It is now a regulation to have a carbon monoxide detector fitted when the stove is installed – for those customers who had stoves previously installed and don’t have a carbon monoxide detector we can always fit one when servicing the stove – mention it to the service engineer, they always have them with them on the van.
